Jennifer Porter, Director of Workforce Initiatives
Jennifer Porter is Director of Workforce Initiatives for Workforce Wayne. Jennifer is leading Workforce Wayne’s partnership of business, education, economic development, community, employment services and government toward a more effective workforce delivery system in Wayne and Pike Counties. Previously sustainability program coordinator for the City of Portland’s Office of Sustainable Development/Bureau of Planning & Sustainability, Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts from Wells College and a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from Portland State University. Jennifer is a former Board Chair of the Columbia-Willamette Clean Cities Coalition and the Hollywood Farmers' Market, and former Board Secretary for the Association of Oregon Recyclers. A Native of NEPA, she returned to the area in September 2008 after 8 years in the Pacific Northwest. Lyndsay J. Birmelin, Workforce Coordinator 
Lyndsay J. Birmelin is Workforce Coordinator for Workforce Wayne. Lyndsay's projects revolve around implementation and coordination of nine Community Career & Training Sites in Wayne County, implementation of a robust outreach campaign, assisting in creation and implemtation of educational career activities within Wayne County school districts, as well as organizing activites that strengthen the partnership between business and education. Lyndsay currently serves as a member of Wayne County School to Work, Wayne County Employment Coalition, and the Occupational Advisory Committee. Lyndsay is a 2002 graduate of Western Wayne High School and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Organizational Leadership from Keystone College. Her main goal through implementing her Program of Work at Workforce Wayne is to use her skills, experiences and ideas to strengthen the partnership between business and education. Together they are leading the partnership to ensure Workforce Wayne’s success!
